Rogue Class Overview for WoW Forever
A stealth-based melee fighter that controls engagements and chooses when to strike.
QuestBase Editorial · Beta draft · Roster checked October 3, 20261. Rogue at a Glance
Rogue is a melee damage class built around choosing when a fight begins. Stealth and control let a Rogue shape the opening, but staying useful afterward still requires target selection, positioning and resource discipline.
Both Alliance and Horde Skyborne can choose Rogue in the current Forever race matrix. That expands access to the class without settling any Beta performance comparison.

Core Gameplay and Class Systems
Stealth is useful because it changes the starting position and timing of an encounter. Select a target that matters, plan where you will be after the opener and leave a way to respond if the first attempt fails.
Melee uptime depends on staying near the correct enemy without drawing unnecessary danger. In groups, follow target priorities and avoid breaking agreed crowd control.
What to Know in WoW Forever
Both Alliance and Horde Skyborne can choose Rogue.
Class availability and role options are supported by the current QuestBase roster. Exact talent effects and performance claims require fresh current-client verification, so this page does not present a final build or tier ranking.
Leveling a Rogue
Choose pulls you can finish cleanly. A Rogue that escapes an avoidable extra fight often advances faster than one that spends every resource on an aggressive opening.
Keep weapons and trained abilities current and test how the three paths feel with the skills the level-30 Beta currently provides. Do not import a later-level rotation unchanged.

Rogue in PvE
A Rogue contributes focused melee damage and control. Coordinate target priority, interrupts and any crowd control with the group; opening on the wrong enemy can disrupt a carefully managed pull.
Rogue in PvP
The opening is an advantage, not a guarantee. Track the opponent's response, decide when to commit and preserve an exit when the exchange turns against you.
