The old Week 1 “rush dungeon quests and stop at 20” advice is already outdated. The current build gives you ten more levels, new dungeon access, and better quest respawns across several 20–30 zones.

        Starting Zone

        Stay local, train your class, and establish flight paths.

      2. 10–20
        Faction Questing Zone

        Add Hall of Thanes or Ruins of Lordaeron when relevant.

      3. 20–25
        Mid-Level Zones

        Ashenvale, Duskwood, Wetlands, Hillsbrad, or Stonetalon.

      4. 25–30
        Questing + Dungeon Window

        Continue quests; add Razorfen Downs or Excavation Site, then Uldaman at 30.

      5 Leveling Mistakes to Avoid Right Now

        Following a Week 1 guide that still assumes the Beta ends at level 20.

        Assuming dungeon quest XP works the same way it did before October 1.

        Traveling across the world for a “perfect route” when you already have a healthy quest cluster at your level.

      What is the current WoW Forever Beta level cap?

      30. Blizzard raised the cap from 20 to 30 in the October 1 Beta build.

      What new dungeon is available from levels 26–30?

      Excavation Site: Wetlands is now available for levels 26–31.

      Can I enter Razorfen Downs in the current Beta?

      Yes. Blizzard’s October 1 development notes list Razorfen Downs as available from level 25.

      Is Uldaman available?

      Yes, beginning at level 30 in the current Beta build.

      Did dungeon leveling get nerfed?

      Blizzard reduced the extra experience awarded by dungeon quests by 50% beyond their normal quest values. That does not mean dungeons are useless; it means older XP assumptions need to be rechecked.

      Is this the final launch leveling route?

      No. This page describes the current level-30 Beta. WoW Forever launches with a level cap of 60, so the guide must be updated as launch data becomes available.
