Where do you stand?
Frontline pressure, deliberate melee precision, ranged control or group support change the way you read every encounter.
Nine current classes, sorted by what NC actually says they do.
NC introduced eight core classes in its 2025 combat reveal. Brawler joined in Chapter 1 in July 2026. The later English Stigma announcement uses Ranger and Elementalist; the initial reveal called those lineages Marksman and Spiritmaster.
Pick the task that appeals to you before chasing a ranking. Templar has the explicitly stated tank identity; Chanter has multiplayer support; Gladiator owns area attacks; Brawler has a clearly described Rage-to-Rampage loop. The remaining profiles explain what NC has confirmed and which class-specific claims still need client verification.
Filter by an official combat identity. This is a role finder, not a tier list; the nine current classes are shown below.

Templar is the named tank. Cleric and Chanter bring distinct support identities. These are responsibilities, not damage ranks.
