Choose a route, not a rigid order
The current Beta route is more useful as a set of level bands than a single mandatory path. Your faction, character location and active quest chains affect which option is efficient. Choose your level and faction below, then compare a nearby zone with the next dungeon window.
- Levels 1–9: finish a suitable starting area, including Zephras Isle for Skyborne.
- Levels 10–19: select a faction route and add a dungeon when a group is ready.
- Levels 20–24: move through level-appropriate mid-level quest chains.
- Levels 25–30: combine questing with the expanded Beta dungeon window.
October Beta adjustments
Blizzard increased respawns for many quest creatures and objects in Hillsbrad Foothills, Ashenvale, Wetlands, Duskwood and Thousand Needles. That changes how a player should judge a bottleneck reported earlier in the test. It does not prove every quest is now fast; use the live game to evaluate a crowded or slow chain.
- If a quest is blocked, switch to another nearby chain rather than waiting indefinitely.
- Return to the level checker after a few levels because the next zone and dungeon options change.
Travel and uncertainty
The cards show zone choices, not exact coordinate maps. Do not plan a long journey only because a zone appears in a band; first check faction access, your current quests and travel time. This Beta draft is updated as official changes are verified.
